6 November, 2017: One-day business plan training to kick-start OBI business plan coaching of selected entrepreneurs
Twenty-one groups selected from the total of fifty-five that participated in the last OBI training have attended today’s training to learn how to prepare their business plan for the competition of 24th November.
Today, 33 entrepreneurs gathered in the CDE-IADE Center of Pante Macassar to participate in the next step of the OBI training phase that started last September. The workshop, organized by the Regional Secretariat of Community Tourism, has been designed to provide the participants with a detailed view of the structure of the business plan that they will have to submit at the OBI business plan competition planned for 24 November 2017.
Out of the 55 entrepreneur groups that participated in the OBI business camps held between 18 September and 3 October 2017, 27 groups were selected for participation in the next business plan competition. These same groups were invited to participate in today’s business plan training, after which the OBI team will coach them in preparing their business plans for the Competition.
At the competition, the best 15 groups will be awarded technical training to improve the quality and design of their products. The best 10 groups will also be granted equipment to modernize and scale up their production.
