Bicycles for rent in Oé-Cusse
Tourists and visitors now have a new way to get around and experience the beautiful landscapes of Oé-Cusse: on one of the six rental bikes that, with the support of the Oé-Cusse Business Incubator (OBI), a RAEOA – ZEESM TL project developed with UNDP, the entrepreneur Dores da Costa Tilman placed next to the Dominican Madres Cafe in Pante Macassar.
This Monday afternoon, in the presence of Ms. Munkhtuya (Tuya) Altangerel, the new UNDP representative in Timor-Leste, was signed the contract that stipulates the conditions of this partnership in which everyone wins: tourists and visitors who now have an affordable, environmentally friendly, fun and healthy way to get around Oé-Cusse; the Dominican Mothers who receive, for the noble purposes of their mission, where dozens of children reside, 25% of the revenue generated by the business; the Region thus supports a business that is fully compatible with its sustainable development and Social Market Economy objectives and, of course, entrepreneur Dores da Costa Tilman, who earns a new source of income for his family.
For now, tourists and visitors are offered six sturdy and comfortable bikes, as well as the indispensable helmets. Using them is easy: just contact the mobile number on the promo poster and pay for the time you choose – $ 1 per hour or $ 3 for a full day (8am – 6pm).
