March 23, 2018: The winners of the OBI program receive the equipment
The Regional Secretary for Community Tourism in RAEOA & ZEESM TL, Ms. Inácia Teixeira, delivered all the materials to the 10 winning groups of the Ideas Competition held last December in Oé-Cusse
This afternoon, the ten winning groups of the Ideas Competition that took place last December in Oé-Cusse received the materials to continue developing their projects. This equipment delivery is part of the Oe-Cusse Business Incubator (OBI) programme, an initiative from the Regional Secretariat of Community Tourism, Industry and Commerce in RAEOA & ZEESM TL that has the purpose of helping micro, small and medium businesses and build business capacity in Oé-Cusse.
With this action, RAEOA & ZEESM TL aim to provide economical and technical support to the winning groups, so that they can continue with their work and improve the quality of their products. Some of the materials received include equipment such as: an air compressor for the Bintang Lifau group, dedicated to developing decorative flowerpots; a freezer and a meat slicer for the Dendeng Sapi group; a pressing machine for the Hafoti group, aimed at developing refined coconut oil; or two sawing machines for the group Amsila 1, dedicated to palm weaving, and for the women’s group Feto Fitun Fronteira in Oé-Silo, dedicated to the traditional weaving of Tais.
The winners showed their gratitude to the Regional Secretary of Community Tourism, Ms. Inácia Teixeira, who has been in charge of delivering all the materials.
