Staff from the Oé-Cusse Business Incubator programme received training on business development provided by ANGIN Indonesia
This week, the Regional Secretary of Community Tourism in RAEOA – ZEESM TL received the visit of four specialists from Angel Investment Network Indonesia (ANGIN), to implement a knowledge exchange experience with the OBI programme experts with the aim of finding new areas of collaboration.
Throughout a two-day workshop, specialists on entrepreneurship and innovation from SRTC improved their capacities to grow the impact and effectiveness of the OBI programme. In addition, the experts from ANGIN visited some of the winning businesses from OBI’s 2017 competition.
Furthermore, the training will allow the preparation for the OBI second cycle of support to local businesses in 2019.
ANGIN is the first investment network in Indonesia and its main activity is to build a bridge between entrepreneurs and potential investors, with the aim of promoting an entrepreneurial ecosystem and developing a business synergy system.
This first exchange between the two institutions intends to be the first step of a possible long-term collaboration between the OBI Programme and ANGIN which would cover four main areas: 1. capacity building for local staff; 2. mentoring trainings from Indonesian companies to Timorese entrepreneurs; 3. implement a crowdfunding to improve access of local entrepreneurs to funds from private sector and Timorese diaspora; and 4. communication support to improve the reach of the Oé-Cusse Business Incubator Programme.
