This initiative takes part of an agreement with Government’s Strategic Development Plan with the objective of making Timor-Leste an attractive and competitive nation in the commercial area
This morning, Authority RAEOA – ZEESM TL represented by the Regional Secretary of Community Tourism, Ms. Inácia Teixeira, have gathered with the representatives from SERVE leading by Mr. Florencio da Conceição Sanches with the aim of signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
Services for Registration and Verification of Entrepreneurs, better known by its initials SERVE, “was created by the Decree-Law 35/2012 with the objective to integrate, in a “One-Stop-Shop”, all services related with business registration and licensing”, as they specify in their own website. This initiative entails a great deal of effort to integrate services that were previously handled by the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Finance and by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Environment, respectively.
“In this sense, SERVE became the State’s service responsible for the registration of companies and sole traders, as well for the verification and publicity of their legal status, with competency, to approve company’s name, as well as to organize and manage the business registration data base”, claims SERVE in its official site.
By the end of the meeting, members from both sides have shown very satisfy with this new agreement which will mark a new stage in Oé-Cusse future and will make Timor-Leste and attractive and competitive nation in the commercial area.
